THOMAS JAY lança seu 1º CD ?Nothing Comes To Those Who Wait?

THOMAS JAY: Nothing Comes To Those Who Wait
The debut album ?Nothing Comes To Those Who Wait? from 23-year-old singer/songwriter Thomas Jay plays almost like a ?greatest hits? or ?best of? from an artist twice his age.
Produced in Brazil at Mega Studios, São Paulo, by André Jung (an experienced Brazilian musician and producer) the CD has 14 songs, all of which are about his personal experiences, feelings or relationships. All brutally honest songs, touching on subjects that all of us can relate to, from being with someone that isn?t right for you, to being madly in love, from being abandoned by his father, to the youthful subject of casual sex, this album is a rollercoaster of emotions and subjects!
On ?Nothing Comes To Those Who Wait? you find influences from Paul McCartney and The Beatles, Damien Rice, Robbie Williams perhaps, or even to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and all in between, becoming a unique sound all of its own. This combination of memorable melodies, beautiful lyrics, pop and modern rock gives this album the feel of an instant classic.
Born and raised in Staffordshire, England by his mother and sisters in a single parent home, he spent his latter years of school frustrated, insisting that there must be somewhere for him to study alongside fellow musicians. It?s this determination and vision that earned him a place at the prestigious BRIT school for music in South London, which has brought us the likes of Amy Winehouse, Adele, Kate Nash, Katie Melua, Leona Lewis & The Kooks, amongst others. Thomas thrived under the pressure of such an environment, igniting his passion for song writing. It was here, and the years that followed playing to anyone who?d listen around London venues, that he transformed himself into the accomplished songwriter and exciting live performer that he is today.
What now you may ask?..the best upcoming artist of 2009 perhaps!?
